Craig Metcalfe has twelve years of multidisciplinary industry and academic experience in materials science, mechanical design, and manufacturing. He has past experience in the automotive industry at General Motors of Canada Ltd. and in the advanced technology industry at Quantiam Technologies Inc. Craig earned his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the University of Toronto, while developing plasma spray methods for low-cost, metal-supported solid oxide fuel cells.
At Regulus Engineering, Craig applies his diverse knowledge base and experience toward developing novel manufacturing solutions, ranging from the fabrication of advanced wear coatings to micromachining of small, high-value components for medical devices and scientific instrumentation.
We offer machine design and automation services, including CAD, motion studies, and simulation.
We offer FDM printing in PLA, nylon, and polyester to rapidly produce quality functional prototypes.
We specialize in microfabrication of small, high-value components and focus on advanced metrology solutions to ensure only quality parts are delivered to our customers.
